She graduated from the Royal Academy of Antwerp (fashion design) and from the HEAR Strasbourg (jewellery workshop). Her practice is multidisciplinary, mixing drawings, collages, objects, jewellery, clothes, textiles, performances and installations to tend towards a total art. In some respects she is part of a symbolist heritage (referring to William Morris or Huysmans). Comparable in its sophistication, her work differs however. He refuses the morbid fascination of the artists of the time, but retains their historical concern for the upheavals of the industrial revolution, echoing contemporary globalisation.
