Set of two bottles: a Castello Di Ama, Vigneto Bellavista, vintage 1985 and a Chionetti Briccolero, vintage 1988. Category: red wine Sangiovese and Dolcetto. Dogliani and Chianti (Italy). Level: C. 75 cl. This Chianti Classico, Vigneto Bellavista comes from one of the most beautiful vineyards of Castello di Ama, with a wide area and plenty of sunshine. This wine shows deep complexity and a long-range bouquet that evolves slowly in the glass. The Vigneto Bellavista is the most complete, but also the most linear and agile on the palate. Approximately 75 hectares of vineyard, around the village of Ama. The vineyards lie between 420 and 527 metres above sea level and extend over four valleys referred to by their traditional names of Bellavista, San Lorenzo, La Casuccia and Montebuoni. The history of the Chionetti family has been linked to the vineyard since the 19th century. The turning point came in 1912 when Giuseppe Chionetti bought the estate in an area suitable for vineyards in San Luigi in the town of Dogliani. From that moment on Chionetti family tied its name to the dolcetto wine. Labels present slight dirt and damage.
