Prause 322. - The longest-lived of the German arts and crafts journals. With the intention to be useful to the craft with artistic suggestions several hundred sample sheets (also coloured lithographs and engravings) were published, which here condense to a continuous topical pattern work, each designated by designer, i. a. A. Amberg, H. v. Berlepsch, J. Dietz, O. Hupp, A. Pössenbacher, A. Seder, G. Seidl, F. Stuck, S. v. Suchodolsky, F. v. Thiersch, B. Wahl - partly also emerging with own pattern works. Journals that have rendered outstanding services as suppliers of sample sheets for contemporary style formation are missing from the catalogues "Vorlagenwerke" of the University of Eichstätt and the Art Library Berlin.
