Garemijn specialiseerde zich in de kleurrijke weergave van het volkse dagelijkse leven zoals hij het rondom zich zag. As director of the academy (1765) of Brugge, Garemijn was also a leader in the development of the new model. Garemijn was a highly productive artist in the same way as he wrote 'Nulla dies sine linea'. This book with drawings is the first of Garemijn's works that is not included in the collection of the Bruges Library and Museum.
