Remainder. - Lit.: Th.-B. XXI, p. 214. Gustav Koken studied under his uncle Edmund Koken and at the Weimar academy under Th. Hagen. Since 1878 he lived in Hannover again. Study trips took him to Upper Bavaria, to the Rhine and the North Sea coast. Koken rendered great services to the exhibition business, the gallery operations and the organization of the arts and crafts museum of his hometown.
