Important "timba" drum made of hard and heavy wood richly polychrome supported in caryatid by a standing woman, hieratic, with an imposing chest, wearing an apron of initiation and a necklace. She supports a tray on which the drum shaft rests, stretched with skin held in place by large wooden pegs. Engraved geometric decoration. Cracks and missing pieces due to woodborers. These imposing drums are reserved for men during ritual ceremonies and kept by the leader of the male secret society.
