A FINE SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND CLUSTER RING, FIRST QUARTER OF 20TH CENTURY The elongated oval-shaped sapphire weighing approximately 6.46cts within a twelve-claw setting, framed by old brilliant-cut diamonds and similarly-cut diamond shoulders, mounted in 18K gold and platinum, diamonds approximately 2.50cts total, French assay marks, ring size J¾ Accompanied by a report from C. Dunaigre laboratory in Switzerland, stating that the sapphire weighing approximately 6.46cts is of Sri Lankan (Ceylon) origin, with no indications of heating.
