LARGE FIGURE OF THE MOTHER OF GOD WITH THE CHRISTIAN CHILD Probably Italy, 17th century Wood, plastically carved, colourfully set and silver-plated, back flattened, metal nimbus. H. 112 cm. On a rectangular base a full figure of the Mother of God, facing the viewer frontally. On her left arm she holds the blessing Christ child. Damage and rest, the frame partially replaced.
