LARGE FIGURE OF SACRED BARBARA German, 17th c. Wood, plastically carved, back flattened and hollowed, remains of the setting. H. 83 cm. On a rounded base a full figure depiction of St. Barbara in a richly draped robe in a devotional pose, standing next to a tower as an attribute of her martyrdom. Damage and rest, partly wormholes.
