GESSNER. Complete works. S.l., s.e. (Cazin ?), ca. 1780; small in-12, XX-266 + IV-290 + 356 pp. bound in full calf, spines decorated with green morocco, fillets on the boards, edges gilt. 1 frontispiece. This is the complete works of Salomon Gessner, Swiss poet born in 1730 and died in 1788. He was considered in his time as the Theocritus of the 18th century. Beautiful edition.
