Ordinance of Mgr Jean Baptiste DES GALOIS, Lord of the Tower, the 1st President of the Parliament of AIX, and Intendant of Provence, made in AIX (13) June 26, 1740. "Being necessary to renew the provisions of the ordinances, as well for the obligation imposed to all the subjects of His Majesty, to arrest the Deserters of his Troops, as with regard to the prohibitions to procure & support the desertion, & to buy the Weapons & the hardes of the Soldiers....
