Kota reliquary statue, guardian of the relics of the ancestors, with a slightly concave face to better retain the light. It is made up of copper strips (one of which is detached) arranged horizontally, while another vertical strip represents the forehead. The copper cabochon eyes surround a fine, pointed nose. The neck is also covered with copper. The copper gives a shiny appearance that is supposed to scare away evil spirits.
Offerings were made regularly to link the visible and invisible forces of the ancestors.
