Stitch carpet from La Savonnerie (France), 2nd third of the 20th century
Dimensions : 165 x 130cm.
Technical characteristics : Wool velvet on a cotton foundation.
A purplish field with small ivory discontinuous lines, is highlighted by an ivory "moulded" frame with old gold wavy ornamentation and edges. Rosettes in two corners. Beautifully presented. (Fragmented) (Small stains)
