Menu project, 1901. Hundredth performance at the Théâtre Antoine of the play "Les Remplaçantes" by Eug. BRIEUX, May 13, 1901. Two drawings with graphite, ink and colored highlights on paper. Lettering on lines. Repentirs. Unsigned. 37 x 25.5 cm (on view). Wear to the colors and some pitting. In the same frame with gilded wood and plaster mouldings. Damage and missing parts. The play "Les Remplaçantes", in three acts, was written by Eugène BRIEUX (1858-1932) and began to be performed in early 1901 at the Théâtre Antoine. Provenance: Collection of Eugène BRIEUX (1858-1932), playwright, received into the French Academy in 1909.
