6 compositions by Alberto Giacometti engraved on copperplate outside the text.
This collection consists of 14 poems, some of which had been pre-published by Mercure de France and Point Cardinal. Giacometti died in 1966 without being able to produce the original figures. The poet and the publisher decided to select unused etchings, engraved by the painter in 1956 for Le Moteur blanc and in 1961 for Dans la chaleur vacante.
