Prunkvoller Akeleipokal Lot n° 38

Silver, vermeil gilding, the foot with the city mark for Nuremberg, unknown hallmark and tremolo mark. High-pointed foot with 3 ornamental clasps over a decorated nodus with cut and scrolled wreath decoration. Dome decorated with bosses and finely chiselled vine and leaf depictions. Crowning of the lid by a praying huntsman and a deer under a tree. At the foot of the stand later added commemorative inscription from 1915. Good condition. Nuremberg, before 1886.
