"Heinrich Seelheim (1884 Essen - 1964 Göttingen) was a geographer and diplomat, German Consul in Winnipeg, Canada and Consul General in Yokohama, Japan. In 1911/12 he participated in the first leg of the Second German Antarctic Expedition. - In his letter, he thanks his wife for congratulating him on a good voyage and looks forward to meeting his wife Irmgard in Buenos Aires, and is already making plans for them to ""hang out down there in South America"". - With autograph sign.
