World War 2 Collection of 18 documents with field post correspondence. 1946-1949. used field postcards. "Contains cancelled field postcards or envelopes. The collection includes correspondence from a German prisoner of war in Russia to his family living in Hamburg-Altona. Most of the cards bear the Cyrillic preprint of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Association. The contents concern everyday life in ""Camp No. 7057/II"". Most of the cards also have the Soviet censorship stamp ""Vojennaja Censura"". Contains: 10 cards from Hamburg to Russia, 5 cards from Russia to Hamburg and an envelope "Heimkehrerpost" from 1949. In addition 1 fieldpost card with the remark ""Zurück. Wait for new address!"" as well as 1 blanco fieldpostcard with the illustration of a tank and O-drawing on verso. - With age-related traces of use." *
