This supposed representation of Louis XIV is prior to 1643, when, after the death of his father, Louis XIII, the young dauphin of France takes the name of Louis XIV.
Louis of France is nicknamed "Dieudonné" to mark the miraculous arrival of the heir of France after 23 years of unsuccessful marriage.
