A ROMAN GOLD NECKLACE SET WITH GLASS AND GARNETS, 1ST-2ND CENTURY
A.D.14 in. Total length ; 37 grs. Composed of two lengths of threefold doubled loop-in-loop chain, each end closed by a cylindrical terminal. Joined to a series of 5 oval gold boxes,
each hinged to the next and set with glass imitating garnet and amethyst stones. The central box supporting a pendant in the form of a flower composed of bezelset glass and
garnet , the lateral bezels joined to loop-in-loop chains descending from the upper bezels.

Composed of a long chain of triple gold wire from loop to loop, each end closed by a cylindrical terminal. Joined to a series of five oval gold boxes, each hinged to each other and set with glass imitating garnet and amethyst stones. The central box supports a flower-shaped pendant made of glass and garnet, the pendant is connected to the main row by chains of interlocking links descending from the upper bezels.
