BEAD-BALL GAME Egypt, New Kingdom, 18th dynasty, 1600-1500 BC Earthenware with two-tone blue and black glaze Diam_ 4 cm Provenance Paris, private collection and from an old collection from the mid 1950s - 1960s AN EGYPTIAN NEW-KINGDOM BLUE AND BLACK FAIENCE GLAZED BALL BEAD WITH INTERNAL PELLETS, DYNASTY 18TH 1,6 in. Diam Hollow bead in the shape of spheres with bichrome glazed earthenware pierced in the length. This type of bead exists since the Middle-Empire. The decoration with section of black and blue earthenware. Numerous similar balls were found by Griffith near the temple of Hathor in Faras (Nubia).
