RED JASPER SIGILLED SEAL WITH MASTER OF ANIMALS, TWO SASSANIAN HEMATITE SEALS ENGRAVED WITH AN EAGLE AND A BIRD WITH SNAKE, A SASSANIAN BLOODSTONE INTAGLIO WITH A BULL AND A CHALCEDONY INTAGLIO IN THE STYLE OF SASSANIAN PRODUCTION. - A red jasper cylinder seal showing a master of animals mastering of winged caprids. Between each animal, a crouching monkey. In the field, 8-pointed star. Neo-Assyrian art(?). L_ 29 mm (1.1 in) - Two hemispherical hematite seals. The plates engraved respectively of an eagle, and a bird with a reptile. Sassanid art, 4th century. H_10,2 and 10,3 mm ( 0,5 and 0,6 in) - A bloodstone intaglio engraved with a bull or buffalo in profile facing to the left. Sassanid art, 4th century. Diam_ 10,5 cm (0,6 in) - A chalcedony intaglio depicting an orant in intercession before a deity. In the right field, a branch. At the top, a six-pointed star. Sassanid art.
