On the back of the crown a curved carrying handle for hanging into the middle link of the medal chain. The cipher in the medallion on the back finely chased. The green enamelled oak / laurel wreath between the arms of the cross with finely guilloched enamel background. A splendid example of the finest Berlin goldsmith's work from around 1900.
