"Verdure" Aubusson Tapestry, End of XVIIth. Early 18th century
Technical characteristics : Wool and silk. Restorations of maintenance. Some oxidations and slight natural wear.

A central pond serves as a paddling pool for a group of aquatic birds. The scene takes place under the gaze of a parrot on the branch of an old oak. A lush undergrowth adorns the bank where three small birds peck at thistle flowers. Houses appear in the background. Scalloped border, vases and multicolored floral compositions.
