The siege of Jerusalem by the emperor Hadrian. Technical characteristics : Wool and silk. Restorations. Some highlights of colors. Oxidation and natural wear. Dimensions : Height : 305cm ; Width : 460cm. On the right, we see Hadrian with two courtesans. Opposite him, seated between two old Jewish men, a Roman general whose head can be seen.

On the left, a camp tent, so it is indeed a siege and a negotiation between a Jewish city and a Roman army, which would correspond to the siege of Jerusalem by Hadrian. Hadrian had to face a revolt in Juder from 132 to 135. A.D.
