"Greenery Tapestry panel from Felletin. Aubusson region (Creuse, France) end of XVIIth, beginning of XVIIIth called "Portière". Technical characteristics : Wool and silk. Restorations of maintenance. Some oxidation and natural wear. Dimensions : Height : 265cm ; Width : 125cm. A centuries-old oak, bushy and twisted is the central star of this portière, where at the edge of a deep forest blooms a flowery and lush undergrowth. Floral braid and acanthus leaf border.
