Beautiful realization reporting the destruction caused during the bloody week. 2/ - Petit, Pierre. - Guidebook of Paris-Brulé. Events of May 1871 containing the account of the entry of the army into Paris and the battle of the streets, historical and archaeological notes on all the monuments and private houses burned or destroyed ... a collection of photographs before and after the fire. In-8, red half-chagrin, spine ribbed, gilt title - scattered foxing - [1 f.], 140 pp, folding colour map of Paris with the positioning of the bastions, 10 photographic plates with 2 views (13 faded out of 20). Complete with the 29 issues with their covers bound in-fine. 4 colour plates of military costumes of the Commune by A. Raffet, 2 folding plates "second siege of Paris, April 2 - May 21, 1871", "bloody week May 21 to May 28, 1871" drawn by Charles Proles. 5/ - Rousset (commander Léonce). - General history of the French-German war (1870-71). 6 volumes in-8, bound in red half-chagrin, spine with gilt fleurons, author and title gilt. Complete with the 32 maps mounted on tabs and distributed in fine of the 6 volumes. Nice condition.
