MEISSEN Round covered sugar pot in porcelain with polychrome decoration of animated landscapes in reserves surrounded by scrolls in gold, red and purple and framed by flowers of the Indies, the catch of the lid in the shape of fruit with gold bottom. Marked : crossed swords in blue and L. in gold repeated in the lid. 18th century, circa 1740. H. 11 cm, D. 11 cm. Some gold wear on the edge of the lid.
