Beautiful proof on laid paper, of the 1st state (of 4), before the address of F. de Beusecom, trimmed to the subject but well complete with the tablet, the lines of the letter placement still perceptible, carefully washed and lined on japonure. Vertical and horizontal folds still visible by transparency. The vertical median drying fold (normal) reinforced on the reverse. Several tears at the edges of the folio, skilfully restored. A few tiny snags visible as white spots in the subject. Small persistent reddish spots.
