Our piece of newspaper is the extract of a report of the famous writer and journalist Henri CALET, telling there his day in Noirmoutier. "Terror at night, harvest of miscellaneous facts in the morning... "published in Le Figaro Littéraire, n°489, 3 September 1955, p. 3.
Provenance: Offered by the artist during one of his stays in Saint-Paul-de-Vence at Aimé and Marguerite Maeght's, where the current owner of this work also stayed; kept since.
This work will be included in the catalogue raisonné currently being prepared by the Fondation
Alberto and Annette Giacometti Foundation; it is referenced by the Alberto and Annette Giacometti Foundation in its Database (AGD) under the number AGD 4324.
