JAPAN, Tenna period, 1681. Katana with double signature: Bishu Fukuyama - Jyuu Suketaka. Cutting test: two bodies cut with this blade. Saidan Mei, golden signature. Nagasa: 61,9 cm. Blade (suguta): Shinogi-Zukuri. Forging pattern (hada): Ko-Itame. Temper (hamon): Guome-Midare (small undulations). Tip (boshi) : Ko-Maru (small circular temper). Handle (nakago) : Iriyamagata-Jiri (Suriage). Mount (Koshirae): Tsuka : 18.5 cm, metal kashira. Same-Hada (ray skin) base and black leather Tsukaito. Pair of Menuki Shinshin representing lions, Shakudo technique: copper and gold alloy, Takabori technique: gold inlay. Guard (tsuba): metal and Hashi-Gaku (octagonal shape), Hitsu-Ume (gold hole filling) and Udenake-Ana (small holes for a cord to hold a tachi when drawing). Scabbard (saya): 70 cm, in brown wood with lacquered banding (relief of the wood). Kurikata in metal, Kojiri in Shitodome, Sayaguchi in metal and Sageo brown and blue. Kissaki (point): Chu-Kissaki. NBTHK certification.
