Flemish Renaissance Reliquary
Silver; partially gilded. Cylindrical vessel with two final chased and godroned hooded lids with surrounding filigree finials; in the throat in each case six set coloured stones in square gilded box mounts. The expositorium held by two hinged clasps on two sides. Marks: BZ Bruges with year letter Z, probably for 1607, MZ Adriaen Lyns sr. (from 1597, cf. Stuyck no. 874, 1024/1025), tremolo engraving. L 26 cm.
