Late Gothic missal case Oak, remains of leather, wrought iron. Oblong box form with hinged lid, three long hinges with shell ends, the edges additionally studded with iron, four round (later?) iron feet. A hinged handle on the lid. Lock fitting possibly replaced, one shell lost at the bottom. With folded handle H 8.6, W 17, D 12 cm. Antwerp, attributed, 16th/17th century. Literature Cf. Berger, Prunkkassette.
