Two pillar hangings
Red silk velvet, appliqué embroidery in gold and silver lanterns, coloured silks. Each with two saints with large halos under mannerist round arches, on scaled ground surfaces, in the spandrels opposite leaf volutes around a vase motif: St. Bishop and St. Francis. St. John, St. James under a round cartouche with the crowned ligature monogram "MA". Probably originally for a chasuble or dalmatic. Framed behind glass, h 126 resp. 107,5, w 32,5 cm.
