Colour lithograph, partly monotype printed, on brownish, slightly fibrous paper. (19)09. Approx. 51 x 41,5 cm (sheet size approx. 59 x 44 cm). Probably one of three colored impressions known so far, with small color differences. Signed, dated, titled and inscribed "4." and with the artist's address at lower right and lower left resp.
Unique character.
The sitter is Lotte, the artist's wife, with an Indian. Pechstein also depicts both of them together in the painting "Woman with Indian on Carpet" (recto) from 1910.
