EAST TIBET, circa 1800. A repoussé sculpture of the Ushnishavijaya Namgyalma deity seated in vajrasana on a throne with a double row of lotus leaves. His three heads are crowned with a high two-tiered bun adorned with a top jewel. The central head is adorned with important earrings, the bust with a necklace and bracelets complete this ensemble punctuated with turquoise and coral. Gilded bronze. Height : 49 cm 49 cm, width 32.7 cm, depth 23.6 cm. Double vajra on the reverse. The mandorla, the attributes and several stones are missing. Restorations to the hands, crack under the neck.
