Folded fan, the double sheet of wallpaper of a shepherdess scene with a damsel holding a bird, near its open cage. A shepherd is watching her.
Reverse side painted with a shell and flower effect. Signed later by the fan maker "Vanier à Paris".
Original white mother-of-pearl frame, cut, engraved and gilded with flowers and a group of four lovers. 19th century.
