ANGLO-INDIAN WRITING CASE. Rosewood, ivory inlaid with black lacquer, brass. This Anglo-Indian writing case is decorated with a flowering tree on its flap and friezes of floral scrolls. These motifs are made of engraved ivory and inlaid with black lacquer. The interior opens to five drawers with brass grips and three central compartments set in engraved ivory arcatures.
