Frontispiece lined with small tears, last page reinforced, spotting in the lower corner of the first few pages, some soiling, handwritten notes on the title including: "De la libreria de la Sta Recoleccion, de Bs Ayres". FIRST EDITION of this Latin Bible printed in Venice. It is illustrated with a FRONTISPICE engraved by Isabella Piccini, a large copper-engraved title vignette and numerous woodcuts in the text. ¶ Delaveau & Hillard, 1118, which ignores this edition and describes only an edition of 1732.
