BEAUX-ARTS - 13 documents. CHAM (Amédée De Noé dit) 3 pen-and-ink drawings with comments or captions. 3 pp. in-12° oblong (about 15,4 x 7 cm). These three drawings numbered (in pen and pencil) 1, 2 and 7, represent various scenes: a present offered to the emperor of China, travels etc... ; GARDEL (Carlos) Beautiful portrait (postcard photograph) black & white signed, dated (1921) and signed (8,5 x 13,8 cm). Upper left corner folded; GARNIER (Charles) 2 L.A.S. (s.l.n.d.) 3 pp. in-8. Long letter, Garnier is quite annoyed because "a young cousin is going to stay with me for a week (...)", her departure coincides with a dinner "Monday evening". Garnier wishes to be excused from this dinner. In the second shorter one he apologizes, the lunch did not go as he wished; HAHN (Reynaldo) L.A.S. and N.A.S. to [Noël Charavay] Paris and (s.l.). 2 pp. in-8. The letter is headed "Casino de Deauville". In his letter he orders two pieces from the last price list marked "- 97670 PAS Bach - 97747 Frédéric II (...)" annotated in black ink by Noël Charavay "75" opposite Bach and "V" (sold) opposite Frédéric. (sold) opposite Frederick II, finally he addresses a note asking "For the letter of Condorcet please send me a receipt (...)"; MAN RAY (Emmanuel Radnitsky dit) reprint of a black & white photograph of Valentine Hugo with autograph annotation "For Henri Matarasso Valentine Hugo photographed by Man Ray in 1930 with his affection" (17,3 x 23,4 cm); PUVIS DE CHAVANNES (Pierre Cécile) L.A.S. to "Monsieur Debau" (s.l.) 15 February 89. 1 p. in-8°. Beautiful embossed header with his initials. He apologizes "Having come yesterday to take part in the banquet, I had to leave everything, because I was expected at 9 o'clock (...)", L.A.S. to "Monsieur Leroy" (s.l.n.d.). 1 p. ½ in-8°. "I have conscientiously shoved everything around and found nothing and have found nothing - I will look again - in the meantime excuse me - and see if this order (...) would not do for you (...)" L.A.S. to "Mons dear Waltt" Paris, 15 May 91. 3 pp. in-8°. "You can well imagine the pleasure your magnificent article gave me and the gratitude (...)
