First edition of a German translation by the German-born Canadian author Frederick Philip Grove (=Felix Paul Greve, 1879-1948) of a tale from “One Thousand and One Nights” (also known as “The Arabian Nights”) illustrated with 57 ORIGINAL LITHOGRAPHS (incl. 1 duplicate) by the German artist MAX SLEVOGT (1868-1932). – In fine condition (due to the protection of blind wrappers around the binding) with only a few small imperfections to the slipcase (partly worn/ discol.).
