Caricature Ulm Cathedral, 19th century. Pencil and watercolor on paper, glued on cardboard. Depiction of architect Joseph Cades (1853-1943), designer of the choir towers of the Ulm Cathedral, who is blocked by a paragraph rider with beer mug the way to the cathedral. Above and below in pencil a saying ("Please step away so that no [...] stands in the way of my artistic [...]"). Signed "Füsslen" lower right. Good condition corresponding to the age with some traces of use. Sheet dimensions H. 21cm, w. 16,5cm, overall dimensions h. 32cm, w. 24cm. Karikatur Ulmer Münster, 19. Jh. Bleistift und Aquarell auf Papier, auf Karton geklebt. Darstellung des Architekten Joseph Cades (1853-1943), Entwerfer der Chortürme des Ulmer Münsters, dem ein Paragraphenreiter mit Bierkrug den Weg zum Münster versperrt. Oben und unten in Bleistift ein Spruch ("Bitte treten Sie weg, damit meiner künstlerischen [...] kein [...] im Wege steht"). Signiert "Füsslen" unten rechts. Guter, dem Alter entsprechender Zustand mit einigen Gebrauchsspuren. Blattmaße H. 21cm, B. 16,5cm, Gesamtmaße H. 32cm, B. 24cm.
