Auguste RODIN (1840-1917) (after) Mother and Son Engraving (heliogravure taken with the point) and enhanced with watercolour On vellum 42.5 x 31 cm Engraving published in 1897 by the Ateliers Goupil Limited edition of 125 copies, supplied with a certificate of authenticity from the gallery and a photocopy of the publisher's proof. Excellent condition, slight defects on the edge of the sheet Informations : This engraving is part of "Album Fenaille" or "Album Goupil", a book dedicated to the drawings of Auguste Rodin, published in 1897. It contains a majority of drawings related to Dante's Inferno, which are generally referred to as "black drawings". A copy of this precious album is in the archives of the Rodin Museum.
