BLANCHE de NAVARRE, Countess Palatine of TROYES]. Charter on parchment, dated "Meldis" [Meaux], March 1207. 15 x 6.8 cm. In Latin. Missing seal. Priory of Fontaines-les-Nonnes. Charter of Blanche Countess Palatine of Troyes "Ego Blanche Comitissa Trecensis Palatina [...]" by which she acknowledges having given to the Ladies of Fontaine [priory of Fontaines-les-Nonnes, of the order of Fontevrault, north of Meaux] a meadow of three quarters sitting in Chambry (Seine et Marne), called the meadow of the Messere. Blanche of Navarre (1177-1229), was countess and later regent of Champagne.
