Charter of Marie countess of Troyes "Ego Maria Trecensis Comitissa" by which she declares that the "terrage de Chambry" [Seine et Marne] by her given to the Dames de Fontaine [priory of Fontaines-les-Nonnes, of the order of Fontevrault, north of Meaux], will be subdivided during the life of Sister Edève and her nieces, and after their death will belong in total to the community at the charge of an anniversary every year.Marie de France, known as Marie de Champagne (1145-1198), first daughter of Louis VII and Eleanor of Aquitaine, and thus half-sister of Richard the Lionheart and Philip Augustus, was Countess of Champagne by her marriage to Henry I of Champagne.
