Les Heures à l'usage de Rome, Manuscript on parchment, Paris, late 15th century. ff 80 x 50 mm. The first leaf of the first quire is missing. One leaf is missing between f. 97 and f. 98, i.e. f. 185v°-186v° are written by another hand. Bound in 18th century brown calf with silver and chased metal trim and gilt edges. The liturgy is, in its entirety, in the use of Rome. Of the 12 original paintings, two are missing: 1) The Visitation (f. 21); 2) The Crucifixion (f. 41); 3) Pentecost (f. 43); 4) The Nativity (f. 45); 5) The Annunciation to the Shepherds (f. 53v); 6) The Adoration of the Magi (f. 60v); 7) The Circumcision (f. 67v); 8) The Flight into Egypt (f. 75); 9) The Coronation of the Virgin (f. 89); 10) Job on his dung heap (f. 130v).
