A very fine and fresh proof on cream glazed vellum, the indentation of the stone very marked, numbered (51) in pencil and stamped with the red monogram. All margins. Edition of 110 proofs. This plate is sometimes known under the title L'Essayage du corset. The figure seated on the left in the dressing room of the actress Anna Judic (1849-1911) is the composer Désiré Dihau (1833-1909), bassoon at the Opéra and cousin of Lautrec, who was often portrayed by him and by Degas.
