GUN MASS
Hematite Diam_ 5 cm
Egypt, Pedynastic period, 5th-4th millennium BC
This small weapon mace is characterized by its four-lobed shape.
Models of the same type were found in Susa in the early periods (Susa I, ca. 4200-3800 BC).
It seems that this type of club comes directly from an Elamite protodynastic export.
