Important and rare JAPANESE lacquer cabinet opening to two leaves revealing ten drawers. Decorated on the top, sides, doors and interior with lacustrian villages, bouquets of flowers and vases on a black background. Chased and gilded bronze handles, keyholes and corners. Late 17th - early 18th century. (Restorations of use). Console legs in carved gilt wood with a dark patina. The front crosspiece is perforated with a large apron, resting on cambered legs decorated with scrolls, bunches of flowers and acanthus leaves. English work from the 18th century.
