LEDURE bronzier in PARIS. Important ormolu and patinated clock, representing Scipio as a roman soldier on the ruins of Carthage, with his helmet and his sword at his side. The dial is surrounded by a crown of oak leaves and signed by LEDURE bronzier in Paris. The base is decorated with a frieze of acanthus leaves. Straight legs decorated with stylized palmettes. (The glass is missing from the rear bezel and some wear to the gilding). Restoration period. Height : 60 cm. 60 cm, length : 45,5 cm, depth : 22,5 cm.
